“We go into this in a very different situation to when we met in Week 1,” said Sousa in his Press conference.

“It is never easy to be at 100 per cent focus every game. I was just getting used to coaching in Italian football then, but now I’ve got a better handle of the situation. We must be concentrated on the match.

“It will be a different game because Milan have changed so much since then, transforming their tactics and personnel, while we too have changed. Naturally, I hope the result of our victory remains the same.

“I decide the line-up based on what I see in training during the week and the characteristics of our opponents. Khouma Babacar can give the team a big hand tomorrow or throughout the season.

“I could give Rossi a chance because over the last two weeks he has brought something more, including on an emotional level. He’s so fired up and wants to smash the world in two. It’s the kind of determination that can allow him to think of the future and we knew the recovery process from such a long spell on the sidelines would be long.

“Nikola Kalinic had some moments of difficulty, but he is improving. It’s not just an issue of goals, because he always worked hard for the team.

“Milan are motivated and aggressive, so we have to match that. We have everything it takes to consolidate what we’ve done so far this season.”
