Galliani: 'El Shaarawy not done yet'

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani insists “it’s not done yet” for Stephan El Shaarawy to Roma amid reports of a Monday medical.

Mediaset Premium suggest a deal has been struck and the Little Pharaoh will undergo a medical before signing the contract on Monday.

Sky Sport Italia claim it’s an initial loan worth €2m with option to buy for another €13m at the end of the season.

“It’s not done yet for El Shaarawy,” Galliani told this evening.

He then went to the Stazione Centrale in Milan to greet Luiz Adriano on his return from China, having failed to complete the transfer to Jiangsu Suning, and see the squad off for its trip to Empoli.

Galliani was also asked about River Plate left-back Leonel Vangioni, who will be a free agent over the summer.

“Could Vangioni arrive straight away? We’ll see…”
