The Nerazzurri were a work in progress, but are currently third in Serie A and have reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals, so are on track to qualify for the Champions League and remain Scudetto contenders.

The likely arrival of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City next season will also push Touré towards the exit, as the pair already clashed at Barcelona.
