Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani reveals Stephan El Shaarawy’s move to Roma is “on the home straight”.
The winger is in negotiations to join the Giallorossi on loan, after Monaco opted not to bring him to Ligue 1 permanently.
“It’s on the home straight with Roma,” Galliani told reporters as he arrived at Milanello today.
“We’ll see if we can close it today.”
Galliani was then asked about other potential transfers, and ruled out extensive January activity.
“Leonel Vangioni? At the moment there’s no response from River Plate. I think we’ll give it until July.
“Anwar El Ghazi? Luiz Adriano came back, so we have too many forwards.
“Antonio Nocerino? He’s the only player heading out, we’re expecting an offer from MLS to arrive and that could be a solution.
“The transfer window in America closes in May.”
