Martin Montoya’s Inter experience is at an end, as he landed in Spain to sign for Real Betis Seville.
The 24-year-old arrived from Barcelona over the summer, but has made only three Serie A appearances.
He therefore interrupts the season-long loan early and will join Real Betis instead.
Montoya landed in Spain this evening and will complete the move after a medical.
Montoya’s arrival in Milan in the summer came with the obligation to buy, but only if he appeared in 33 per cent of the club’s official matches.
Having made only four appearances in all competitions this term, Inter are not obliged to pay the agreed €6m fee to secure the defender permanently in the summer.
