Milan have a Luiz Adriano problem, as they seek to sell the striker before the end of the transfer window.
The Brazilian had all-but signed for Chinese side Jiangsu Suning, but the deal collapsed at the last minute and the player returned to Milanello.
Adriano started in the mid-week Coppa Italia semi-final clash with Alessandria, but has been left out of Sinisa Mihajlovic’s squad for the derby.
Calciomeracto reports that the Rossoneri are still trying to sell the striker, just months after signing him for €8m from Shakhtar Donetsk.
However, no other club is willing to offer the €15m that Jiangsu were proposing, with Wolfsburg, Schalke and Fenerbahce only willing to take him on loan.
That represents a problem for the Diavolo as they need a transfer fee to fund any moves at the end of the current window.
In addition, Milan could end up being stuck with an unhappy Adriano if he doesn’t leave before the end of the transfer window, or see him return in the summer and have to be reintegrated.
