“Will anyone else come in before the deadline? No, absolutely not. We are covered in all areas.”

Antonio Nocerino is also in talks for an MLS move, but for Orlando City or New York City FC.

Luiz Adriano’s transfer to Shanghai Shenhua collapsed last week when the player had already flown out to China, as he claimed certain promises were not maintained.

The Brazilian striker returned to San Siro, but Galliani hinted that might not necessarily stay the case, especially as the market in China carries on until late February.

“Is Luiz Adriano on the market? I can’t answer that right now. I don’t know. There is no news, so at the moment no.”
