Augsburg have announced that striker Tim Matavz has joined Genoa on loan until the end of the season.
The Slovenia international has struggled for the Bundesliga club this season, failing to score in any of his 11 appearances.
The former PSV and FC Groningen front man has impressive international pedigree, having scored 10 goals in 31 Slovenia caps.
“As the transfer window draws to a close, FC Augsburg can announce two further transfers,” read an official club statement.
