As talks drag on for Bee Taechaubol’s acquisition of a 48 per cent stake in Milan, Silvio Berlusconi has reportedly received interest from the USA.

The Thai broker has been in talks for the takeover of a minority stake in the Rossoneri for months, and Berlusconi is believed to be getting frustrated.

Tuttosport report today that the relationship between the two is still strong and that talks are progressing, but there are still many subjects to discuss.

The newspaper says that sceptics are suggesting that Mr Bee doesn’t have the €480m necessary to conclude the deal, but those close to him claim he has the money and that the problems come from the debate over the governance of the club and division of powers.

The next few weeks should be decisive according to the report, but meanwhile it says that the American Madison fund has expressed interest.

The conditions of Berlusconi are always the same according to the newspaper, with his valuation of the club at €1 billion.

With new interest emerging, Mr Bee and his entourage are now under pressure to turn the talks into action and finalise the takeover.
