So far the Azzurri have lost only once, the first in Sweden’s Olympic Games on June 6 1912, along with 10 victories and a draw.

Their most recent encounter was a friendly in Messina on November 17 2004, decided 1-0 by Fabrizio Miccoli’s strike.
