Atalanta have returned Marcelo Estigarribia to Deportivo Maldonado, whence he had been loaned.
The 28-year-old had joined La Dea from the Uruguayan club in January 2014, after a spell with Chievo, but he failed to convince them.
As confirmed by the club on their site, the player has officially been sent back to Maldonado, who in turn loaned him again to Cerro Porteno.
