Hellas are still rock bottom, but midweek earned their first win of the Serie A season and are unbeaten in four.

“We are in good shape, the results of recent weeks have given us a renewed sense of enthusiasm,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“The team proved its character in the clash with Atalanta. We know that we are facing a top side in Inter, but one that often mutates during a match. They know that if they’re not perfect, they run risks against us.

“I am sure this squad has picked up fewer points than it deserved, but our opponents have to respect us more now.”

Verona are again dealing with injury problems that rule out Luca Siligardi, Ante Rebic, Samuel Souprayen and Federico Viviani.

“I haven’t yet decided whether to confirm the partnership of Luca Toni and Giampaolo Pazzini. Verona in their current situation cannot afford to sit deep and defend. We have to keep a high line, despite the fact it might seem dangerous, but it’s less dangerous than allowing opponents to crowd into the box.”

Verona squad for Inter: Coppola, Gollini, Marcone; Albertazzi, Bianchetti, Helander, Gilberto, Moras, Pisano, Samir; Emanuelson, Furman, Greco, Ionita, Marrone, Romulo, Wszolek; Fares, Gomez Taleb, Jankovic, Pazzini, Toni
