“The draws by Inter and Fiorentina don’t change anything, as we’d be under pressure to win regardless,” Baldissoni told Mediaset Premium.

“The approach to this match remains the same, we are making progress and will see what happens tonight.

“Edin Dzeko has recovered from the injury, but he hasn’t got 90 minutes in his legs, so he’s on the bench.”

Coach Spalletti discussed a “little mouse who was telling tales, except he’s a bit deaf” to comment on newspaper stories.

“As long as it’s only one mouse, the Coach can take care of it. We’ll help him set some traps,” smiled Baldissoni.

“We know how passionate the fans are and hope they can return to the Curva Sud. We must do our best to get them back in.

“We’re trying to build a Roma style and many of the things we do will benefit the fans. We haven’t delivered the kind of football they wanted to see, but along with them we want to build this new Roma style.”
