Galliani: ‘Milan like Emery’

Adriano Galliani “really likes” Sevilla Coach Unai Emery but “that doesn’t mean he’ll come to Milan”.

The Rossoneri are in good form, and have propelled themselves to within six points of the third and final Champions League spot, meaning Sinisa Mihajlovic’s position is safer than at many other points this season.

However, when asked about Carlos Bacca the club’s joint-CEO praised the Sevilla boss.

“Bacca is a tremendous player,” Estadio Deportivo reports Galliani as saying.

“When the ball comes to him, it’s a goal. We followed him for the last two years at Sevilla, I really like their Coach, Unai Emery.

“That doesn’t mean he’ll come to Milan though.”

Galliani tried to convince Carlo Ancelotti to return to San Siro this summer, and the former Real Madrid Coach is also a fan of Bacca.

“Carlo also likes Bacca, if he’d continued with Real Madrid, Bacca would now be playing with [Karim] Benzema.”
