The Giallorossi captain is uncertain of his future after a recent, critical interview got him freezed out of the squad by Coach Luciano Spalletti.

The relationship between the player and the Coach appears to be tense, and some believe this dates back to the Tuscan's first tenure with Roma. Rumours suggest that it was Totti himself who drove Spalletti to sign his resignation.

“That's not true, Spalletti himself wanted to leave Roma,” Sensi said in today's Press conference, in which she was presenting a new website dedicated to women's football in Italy.

“The Giallorossi captain must be respected. I'd have expected a different way of managing the issue, not least from Spalletti. My heart is bound to Francesco.”
