Galatasaray manager Mustafa Denizli said “our main mistake was giving Lazio too much room.”
They were held to a 1-1 draw in Istanbul and the second leg finished 3-1 for the Aquile.
“Today I think we played relatively well, especially in the second half,” said Denizli in his Press conference.
“We could’ve made more of certain situations and certainly someone didn’t give their best this evening. We struggled on set plays.

“We tried to come back into it, but after the 2-1 should’ve tried even harder to get a result. Our main mistake was giving Lazio too much room.”
There had already been reports before this game that Denizli could be sacked, as Galatasaray are in crisis.
“In my line of work it is only normal to get criticised. When I returned to the Galatasaray bench, I knew the difficulties. I always said that.”
