“The important thing is not to lose faith. Unfortunately we conceded the third goal against the run of play during our best period of the match. At that moment it became truly difficult to make up a two-goal difference against this Roma.

“The only negative in my mind was Mario Rui’s red card, as that made me very angry indeed. Perhaps Leandro Paredes felt the pressure of facing his parent club a bit too much tonight.”
