Fiorentina are said to be reviving their interest in Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.

The shot-stopper has been pushed on to the bench at the Parc des Princes by Kevin Trapp and is increasingly frustrated at the situation.

According to SportItalia, the Viola have set their sights on Sirigu to reinforce their squad for next season.

The 29-year-old has been in France since a €3.9m move from Palermo in July 2011.

This is not the first time that Fiorentina have been linked with a swoop for Sirigu, while Roma were also said to be interested.

Ciprian Tatarusanu is the current first choice, but his second in command Luigi Sepe was frozen out after slamming Coach Paulo Sousa on Instagram.

Sepe is only on loan from Napoli and Fiorentina will not take up their option to buy.
