“Udinese will have the bit between their teeth and we are ready to fight with our own weapons,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“We believe in safety thanks to the recent performances and results. I don’t know if it’ll be enough, but we will try to the bitter end to achieve the impossible.

“Safety is not a mirage and we must give our all. We’ll have many fans with us in Udine and they’ll give us an extra boost, helping us to play with more belief.

“Recently we have been gaining more confidence and therefore credibility, so we have the intention of building on that.”

It is perhaps no coincidence that Hellas have turned a corner since finally getting strikers Luca Toni and Giampaolo Pazzini playing together after injury problems.

“They are forwards with different characteristics, but share the same charisma and have goals in their DNA.”

Vangelis Moras is suspended, while Federico Viviani and Samuel Souprayen are sidelined. Mohamed Fares is in the squad, but might not start due to a slight injury.

Verona squad for Udinese: Coppola, Gollini, Marcone; Albertazzi, Bianchetti, Helander, Gilberto, Pisano, Samir; Emanuelson, Furman, Greco, Ionita, Marrone, Romulo, Wszolek; Fares, Gomez Taleb, Jankovic, Pazzini, Rebic, Siligardi, Toni
