“This is a game of fundamental importance,” said the Coach in a Press conference.
“Lately we have been preparing well for matched and we know Carpi’s quality. They are never easy to face, got a great result at Torino last week and made Roma suffer too.

“This is a game of fundamental importance,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“Carpi have their own specific identity and approach to football. From midfield up their have some really quick players and we need to be very sharp, especially on knock-downs.”
The Orobici are without a victory in 11 rounds, managing just five points since December 6.
“Despite the fact we lost to Fiorentina, I saw improvements in that game. Of course I am not satisfied with our form lately and we need to turn things around.
“Unfortunately we tend to get so eager to do well that we lose organisation and become frenetic. At times it is best to brake a little bit.”
Atalanta assured Reja’s position is not at risk, but he doesn’t believe that.
“It’s only natural that a Coach who goes 11 games without a win is up for debate. It would be anomalous otherwise. Clearly I am the Coach and therefore the main person responsible. We need to find consistency and confidence.”
Andrea Conti is suspended following his red card against Fiorentina, while Rafael Toloi, Alejandro Gomez, Carlos Carmona and Cristian Raimondi are sidelined.
“Without Toloi, then Andrea Masiello will play on the right side of central defence.”
