Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini claims Gianni Infantino “won the FIFA election because he bought more votes than the Sheikh.”

“If they elected him it must be because he bought more votes than the Sheikh. I hope they suspend me for having said that. It would be an honour for me.”
Zamparini is currently in a legal battle after the TAS sporting arbitration tribunal ruled he had to pay €15m to Paulo Dybala’s agent Mascardi.
“This week I am taking TAS to court via the criminal justice system. They are unscrupulous conmen who behave abominably.
“They extort money, millions and millions, then split the proceeds.”
