The agent of Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi says there’s a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to move to Juventus but ‘that doesn’t mean he’ll join them for sure’.
The youngster is one of the most sought-after talents on the peninsula and has been heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri this summer.
“It’s true, there is a kind of gentlemen’s agreement with the Bianconeri,” agent Simone Seghedoni told calciomercato.com.
“This doesn’t mean that he will join them for sure in June. It will be up to the player to choose.
“Inter and Tottenham after him? All I can say is that we received many offers, from Italy and from abroad.
“He has always been an Inter fan, but I can’t confirm their interest as we are only in March”.
The national team? It’s not true that he argued with the CT. In November, Conte called him, but he couldn’t join the Azzurri because of an injury.
“We haven’t heard from the CT in the last two weeks, so if he won’t be called it will be because of technical matters.
“Of course he dreams to play for Italy, but it’s up to Conte. Now, he is focused on Sassuolo only."
