Inter are ready to swoop for Ajax’s Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik if they sell Mauro Icardi for at least €30m.
Icardi’s position has often been put in doubt with reports of offers from Liverpool and Manchester United in January.
Now La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Nerazzurri already have a back-up plan if Icardi is released to raise funds.
The target is Ajax centre-forward Arek Milik, who has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in the Eredivisie this season.
At international level he has 10 goals in 22 senior caps for Poland.
The 22-year-old giant is under contract until June 2019 and his price-tag is believed to be around €10m.
Inter face competition, as Premier League leaders Leicester City are also interested.
