In spite of the Nerazzurri's decline in form, sporting director Piero Ausilio recently claimed the Coach will not be sacked regardless of where he ends up in Serie A's standings.

In today's Press conference ahead of tomorrow's game against Bologna, Mancini was asked immediately whether he would stay at Inter next season, but his answer was rather vague.

“I always have incentives here because I like this job,” he told the Press, before taking the next question.

“I think the fact that Eder hasn't scored yet is coincidental, but he integrated himself very well. He's been playing some good games.

“The formation isn't important, what matters is the team's attitude. [Ivan] Perisic only joined us at the end of the transfer window, while [Jonathan] Biabiany was still recovering. Now he's back and I have a lot of options, so there are no problems.

“You [journalists] are too rigid when thinking of formations. You can have a thousand formations, as long as you're covering the pitch properly. You can win with all sorts of tactical decisions. Juventus have been winning with the 3-5-2 for years.

“Everyone can do well or do poorly. We want the best for Inter, but of course the result ends up affecting all decisions.”
