The African striker released some controversial statements today, announcing a Press conference in which he will accuse Samp of defaulting on their payments, but lawyer Antonio Romei dismissed all of the player's claims.

“The contract was perfectly resolved,” said Romei, as reported by Sport Mediaset. “I have all the paperwork.

“If anything, it's Sampdoria who lost €100,000 when they paid Everton to have him come in six months early.

“I don't know why he's saying these things. He was the one who was in a hurry to leave and go to Turkey.”

There's been no word from famously vocal President Massimo Ferrero, but the Sampdoria owner may speak out after the Press conference.
