Beppe Marotta is “proud” Antonio Conte will join Chelsea, but assures Juventus could still keep Juan Cuadrado and has no Kingsley Coman regrets.

The director general spoke to Mediaset Premium ahead of this afternoon’s Derby della Mole. Follow the action as it happens on our LIVEBLOG.

“We had the strength to shelve Wednesday’s defeat and focus on today. Torino have a healthy sense of sporting revenge, while we have the determination to get the full points.

“We have not talked to Max Allegri about a contract, as currently that is on the back-burner. It is an easy issue to resolve, so there won’t be any problems.

“Evaluation of his work is not just on results, but based on faith too.”

It is widely reported that ex-Juventus Coach Conte will be taking over at Chelsea next season, once his Italy experience has expired after Euro 2016, and Marotta confirmed as much.

“The fact Antonio Conte is going to Chelsea just confirms that we made a good choice when we took him from Siena. I am proud of this and for him.

“Cuadrado? I don’t think Conte will influence our decision. We could keep him here.”

Coman was decisive for Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, so was it a mistake to let him go on a two-year loan with €28m option to buy?

“It was Coman who asked to leave. When there is no ambition at a club, it’s only right to respect the desires of the player.

“We should also underline that we got him as a free agent, so if Bayern do activate their clause, we will be making a profit of €28m.”
