Mauro Tassotti believes Milan should bring Gabriel Paletta and Alessandro Matri back this summer if they qualify for Europe.
The Rossoneri will qualify for the Europa League if they beat Juventus in the Coppa Italia final, and currently sit sixth in Serie A, which will grant entry if the Bianconeri win the Coppa.
“You have to see what the needs of the team are,” Tassotti, a former caretaker Coach and current scout for the Diavolo, explained to OmniSport.
“If Milan are playing in a European competition they’ll need a deeper squad to deal with all the competitions.
“Paletta is on loan at Atalanta and could come in handy, as there are several players in defence whose contracts are running out.
“Also Matri, who is on loan at Lazio until June, could return to Milan in the summer.”
