Vicente Del Bosque admits “Italy made more chances than us” after Spain earned a 1-1 friendly draw with an offside goal.

Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring following a series of great David De Gea saves, but Aritz Aduriz equalised moments later with a goal that should've been disallowed.

“Italy made more chances than us, but we did good things. De Gea was very restrained,” the Coach told reporters.

“Italy made more chances than us, but we did good things. De Gea was very restrained,” the Coach told reporters.

“We couldn’t have possession of the ball. We needed to risk more. I hope we’re in a better condition for Euro 2016.”

This was the first cap in almost six years for Athletic Bilbao’s 35-year-old striker Aduriz, partnering Juventus forward Alvaro Morata.

“Aduriz performed well. He’s adapted perfectly to our game. Morata played well in both positions. I’m satisfied with his work.

“De Gea and Iker Casillas are good. We have absolute confidence in our goalkeepers.”
