The Ivory Coast international’s departure from the Etihad Stadium appears likely after his agent Dimitri Seluk said yesterday they were ‘starting to discuss with different clubs about Yaya leaving’.

Corriere dello Sport reports today that Toure is unlikely to move to another Premier League outfit, but that PSG have shown interest.

However, the newspaper believes that Inter have shown the strongest interest after coming close to reaching a deal last summer.

Coach Roberto Mancini worked with the midfielder at Man City and has a good relationship with him that could work to the Nerazzurri’s advantage.

The report says that Toure’s decision to reject an offer from China in January shows that his decision won’t be made purely on financial terms.

Inter President Erick Thohir is believed to be ready to offer a two-year deal worth €4m per season to the Ivorian, with an option for a third campaign.

Such a deal would represent a significant pay cut for Toure from his current salary at City, but would make him the highest paid player in the Nerazzurri squad.
