Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic “would love” to work with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish striker’s Paris Saint-Germain contract expires at the end of the season, and so-far his future is unclear.
The Rossoneri tried to bring him back to San Siro last summer, and the Coach would like to see Ibra arrive.
“I’d love to coach him,” Mihajlovic told Sky.
“I like to coach great players. Wherever he’s gone he’s won the League title.
“I don’t know if just getting him to Milan would be enough to win the Scudetto now, but he’s certainly an extraordinary player, both technically and in terms of his personality.”
Mihajlovic has been on the end of some criticism from club President Silvio Berlusconi this season, but insists he’s pleased to work with the controversial patron.
“For me there are two Berlusconis. One is the President, who has won almost everything in the history of football.
“Then there’s Berlusconi the politician and great leader. It’s a great victory for me to have the opportunity to talk to someone like him.”
Finally, the Serbian Coach shared a story from his playing career, and a bet with Roberto Mancini.
“When we were at Lazio, in the match where I scored three free-kick goals [against Sampdoria in 1998], we bet one million lire [around £400] for every goal I scored,” Mihajlovic recalled.
“So at the end of the game I went to him and told him he had to give me three million, because I’d scored three goals.
“He told me that I should only get one million because I was a defender and we conceded three goals. So in the end he only gave me a million!”
