Milan ask for Sacchi advice

Milan have reportedly asked Arrigo Sacchi for advice, as they consider Cristian Brocchi or Marcello Lippi for the bench.

Current Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is under pressure, and a poor result against Juventus could spell the end.

Following Cesare Maldini’s funeral today, Rossoneri President Silvio Berlusconi and joint-CEO Adriano Galliani went for lunch with Sacchi at Berlusconi’s Arcore residence.

While the former Diavolo boss insisted it was merely “a reunion between old friends”, Corriere dello Sport believes business was also discussed.

The newspaper believes that Berlusconi wants current Primavera Coach Brocchi to replace Mihajlovic, while Galliani is keen on Lippi, the former Italy CT.

With the indecision at boardroom level, it’s thought that legendary tactician Sacchi was asked for his opinion.
