Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi reveals the Tuscan side turned down January offers from Napoli and Roma for Lorenzo Tonelli.
The defender has been linked with Fiorentina and Lazio, but it appears there is interest from across Serie A.
“Roma and Napoli made offers that Empoli aren’t used to hearing for a defender in the January transfer window,” Corsi revealed on Radio Blu.
“We didn’t want to sell him in the January transfer window because we consider him to be decisive.
“When a decision has to be made, it’ll be done with the players sitting around a table.”
