Antonio Di Natale’s agent announced “his adventure with Udinese is over, but he could play in America or Dubai.”
The 38-year-old striker has been in Friuli for 12 years, but was sensationally dropped by new Coach Gigi De Canio for the 3-1 win over Napoli.
“I think his adventure with Udinese is over, at least that’s the feeling I get,” agent Bruno Carpeggiani told TMW Radio.
“I believe Totò still wants to play football. There is an option for a contract extension with Udinese, but the right conditions are not there to activate it.”
Could Di Natale return to his former club Empoli or go to Fiorentina?
“There has been no contact with the club. His wife is from Empoli, but we’ve never had negotiations. There have been many rumours, from assistant manager to Vincenzo Montella or Luciano Spalletti to playing for Fiorentina.
“I see him more playing abroad, whether in the United States or Dubai. It wouldn’t be China or the Far East, as his family comes first.”
