Inter are said to be targeting cheaper Italian options for next season, such as Emanuele Giaccherini and Francesco Acerbi.

The Corriere dello Sport claims the Nerazzurri are tired of fielding teams without a single Italian in the starting XI, while there are also costs linked to Financial Fair Play to be considered.

The newspaper tips them to make offers for Sassuolo centre-back Acerbi and Bologna winger Giaccherini, both Italy internationals.

Giaccherini is still owned by Sunderland, but has rediscovered his form and scoring touch on loan at the Stadio Dall'Ara.

Inter have also been repeatedly linked with Lazio wide man Antonio Candreva, although his price-tag is close to €20m.

There may well be competition from Chelsea for Giaccherini, who has always been very close to Antonio Conte.
