Gigi De Canio explained why Antonio Di Natale “cannot be called up right now” after Udinese’s 2-0 defeat to Sampdoria.

The captain was also left out for last week’s 3-1 victory over Napoli.

“I am not ostracising him, I just said that considering the difficult moment the team is going through, I needed players who were fully fit and could work hard,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
