Mirko Valdifiori’s agent confirms the midfielder could leave Napoli - “he won’t accept another year like this”.
The playmaker joined the Partenopei from Empoli this summer, but has made just six Serie A appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s men so far.
“Valdifiori’s situation needs to be evaluated well,” Mario Giuffredi said on Radio Crc.
“I don’t think Mirko is willing to have another year like this. The expectations were something else, and the lad’s situation will be evaluated in June because he came to Napoli to be protagonist, not just make up the numbers.”
Giuffredi also represents Elseid Hysaj, and the full-back appears likely to renew with the Vesuviani.
“Hysaj is happy at Napoli and would like to stay, but the financial arrangement has to be reviewed.
“After a year he’s proven himself to be on a high level, and if we haven’t talked about it then it’s because there are objectives at stake.
“We’ll find a solution at the end of the season.”
