Simone Inzaghi is enjoying his ideal start as Lazio Coach, but warns beating Palermo and Empoli “wasn’t easy.”

In his first two games in charge, they’ve secured two wins by scoring five goals without reply.

“Those matches might’ve seemed easier than they were,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were able to win the games and sort out our position in the table, so now we prepare for two difficult away fixtures.

“We played good football, though perhaps could’ve scored a few more goals today.

“The squad has always been very open to working and eager to turn this season around.”

Simone’s older brother Pippo was in the stands of the Stadio Olimpico alongside the Lazio tactician’s son Lorenzo.

“We had a family get-together. Obviously Pippo is very happy for me.”
