Napoli will probably have a turnover of their own, as starter Lorenzo Insigne will probably give up his place in the second half to Dries Mertens, author of a hat trick in his last match against Bologna.

Very much of the game's development will depend on how both teams operate on the wings, as Insigne's tendency to drift wide is mirrored by that of Roma's Diego Perotti. The Argentinian may in fact end up playing in a more central position, turning the Lupi's formation into a 4-3-1-2.

The usual Kostas Manolas and Antonio Rudiger duo have the unenviable task of stopping Gonzalo Higuain, who returns from his controversial match-ban.

Roma (4-3-3): Szczęsny, Florenzi, Manolas, Rüdiger, Digne; Keita, Nainggolan, Pjanic, Salah, El Shaarawy, Perotti.

Napoli (4-3-3):  Reina; Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Insigne, Higuain.
