Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Thohir will hold talks with Mancio to choose whether to sign an experienced midfielder or attempt to develop a younger talent.

Should they elect to go with experience, the Nerazzurri will have to make a choice between Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Lazio’s Lucas Biglia, says the report.

Should they elect to go with experience, the Nerazzurri will have to make a choice between Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Lazio’s Lucas Biglia, says the report.

However, the high costs these signings would require could see the club look to less developed targets in the market.

Bologna’s 18-year-old midfielder Amadou Diawara and Federico Viviani of relegated Verona are the two younger options reportedly being considered.

Diawara has turned heads around Europe in his first professional season, while 24-year-old Viviani is an Italy Under-21 international who would be available at a cut price due to Hellas’ demotion.
