Roberto Donadoni blasted “naïve” Amadou Diawara for two bookings within 12 minutes, but is “pained to see Milan like this.”
Bologna lost 1-0 at home to Milan, as a Carlos Bacca penalty was decisive, but they were forced to play with 10 men for most of the match.
“The dismissal was a terribly naïve error from Diawara, a really serious mistake,” Donadoni told Mediaset Premium.

“The dismissal was a terribly naïve error from Diawara, a really serious mistake,” Donadoni told Mediaset Premium.
“He has to understand and fully realise what he’s done, because he does have great potential. I hope it’ll serve as a lesson for him.”
The midfielder was booked for a scuffle with Jose Mauri, then moments later went into a late tackle on Riccardo Montolivo for a second yellow card.
However, there were also protests for an Alessio Romagnoli shirt-tug on Sergio Floccari.
“I don’t know how you could not see that was a penalty,” complained the Coach.
“Apart from that, the referee did what he had to do. It’s a shame about that penalty.”
Donadoni was asked about the current situation at his old club, including the coaching merry-go-round and negotiations for a sale to Chinese investors.
“It pains me to see such an unclear situation. Milan in my day had a strong club behind it that always had very clear ideas.
“The team is paying the price for that situation. It has been a difficult season for them, but they still have an important objective that can be achieved.
“I hope Milan win the Coppa Italia Final, but Juventus are a tough opponent.”
