Sampdoria are considering Antonio Cassano’s future, after a feud with lawyer Antonio Romei.
The striker is believed to have become involved in a bitter argument with Romei, the right hand man of President Massimo Ferrero, after the derby defeat to Genoa.
CalcioNews24 reports that the Blucerchiati could use the incident to terminate Cassano’s contract early, as there’s an ‘anti-Cassanate’ clause in his deal.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website also reports the presence of the clause, but agrees that the player’s future is uncertain.
The latter site suggest that Cassano could move to Serie B with Spezia or Virtus Entella, as he wishes to stay close to Genoa.
