It’s reported Torino have contacted Sinisa Mihajlovic, in case Giampiero Ventura takes the Italy job.
It was reported today that the Granata Coach is one of the favourites to take over from Antonio Conte as Azzurri CT after Euro 2016 this summer.
Now La Stampa is reporting that President Urbano Cairo will meet with Ventura in the coming days to decide whether to continue their relationship or not.
The tactician has two years remaining on his contract, and if Toro were to sack him they’d have to pay €2m in compensation.
However, if Ventura were to walk away to join the national team, he would give up that golden handshake.
La Stampa believes that Torino have made contact with Sinisa Mihajlovic as a Plan B, with a contract worth between €1m and €2m per season being discussed.
