Sassuolo director general Giovanni Carnevali reiterates Domenico Berardi isn’t certain to join Juventus - “in a few days we’ll sit down and decide”.
The forward was co-owned by the two clubs until last summer, and there is a gentleman’s agreement that the Bianconeri can take him back to Turin for an agreed fee.
“I’m very good friends with [Juventus director] Beppe Marotta,” Carnevali explained to Corriere dello Sport.
“With Juventus there’s an option that hasn’t expired. But there have been important offers from other clubs for Berardi, and we’ll take them into consideration.
“In a few days we’ll sit and decide: ourselves, Juve and the lad.”
