Italy have formally announced a pre-Euro 2016 get-together, plus friendlies with Scotland and Finland.

The Azzurri are in disarray going into the tournament, as stars including Marco Verratti and Claudio Marchisio have pulled out through injury.

Coach Antonio Conte will have an extra get-together to view new players (exempting Milan, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Anderlecht) from May 18 to 21.

The players called up for this training camp at Coverciano will be announced on the evening of Monday May 16.

On Monday May 23, Conte will announce his squad for the ‘real’ Euro 2016 training camp.

This will include a friendly against Scotland on May 29 in Malta and against Finland on June 6 at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona.

There will also be a special televised event in Rome on May 31 with the entire delegation and that evening Conte will announce his final squad for the tournament.

The Azzurri fly out to Montpellier to begin their Euro 2016 adventure on June 8.
