The Viareggio-native would bring great experience to the post, having won the World Cup with the Azzurri in 2006, as well as having a less successful spell on the bench from 2008 to 2010.

As reported yesterday, Mediaset believes that there are three names in the frame for the CT role: Giampiero Ventura, Vincenzo Montella and Gianni De Biasi.
