M’Baye Niang targets the Coppa Italia against Juventus, and assures “I’m happy” at Milan.
The French forward is in line to return for the Rossoneri in Saturday’s cup final, having injured his ankle in a car crash.
“I returned well to the squad yesterday,” Niang explained to Milan Channel.
“I still have a bit of hard work to do, but I hope to do that before Saturday. We mustn’t forget that we’re Milan, we have to try and win a trophy after a long time.
“If the Coach puts me on then I’ll do my best and I’ll give everything for what would be my first trophy.
“We need to forget the last game against Roma, we can’t have regrets, we’ll play with humility and try to win.”
Niang was also asked if he intends to stay with the Diavolo this summer, having been linked with Leicester City in January.
“There’s a lot of time to talk about it, the final is the most important thing for me right now. So many players dream of playing here, for the moment I’m here and I’m happy.”
