Reports say Juventus held a meeting with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi yesterday, but Inter could still enter the fray.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri but his future remains undecided.
Corriere della Sera has reported that Juve director Giuseppe Marotta met Sassuolo counterpart Giovanni Carnevali in Turin on Wednesday to discuss details of Berardi’s move to the Old Lady.
The deal could be confirmed next week according to the outlet, after the Coppa Italia final against Milan on Saturday.
However, Tuttosport believe that Inter could still have a say in the future of the €25m-rated forward.
The Nerazzurri are ready to enter negotiations for Berardi and are willing to offer players in exchange, with Rey Manaj, Assane Gnoukouri and Cristiano Biraghi being touted.
Berardi scored seven goals and provided six assists in 29 appearances for Sassuolo this season in Serie A.
