Verona have officially announced that Coach Luigi Del Neri has left the club by mutual consent.

The former Juventus and Chievo boss took over from Andrea Mandorlini in December, with the Butei having failed to win a single Serie A game.

Despite a slight improvement in form, the tactician was not able to save the club from relegation, and it has today been announced that he has left his post.

“By mutual consent, the club and coaching staff have decided not to continue our professional relationship.

“President [Maurizio] Setti and the club therefore wish the Coach and his team the best of luck for their future careers.”
