Mirko Valdifiori’s agent claims he, Vasco Regini and Manolo Gabbiadini “have been damaged by Maurizio Sarri” at Napoli.
Ironically, Valdifiori had great success under Sarri and Empoli and followed him to the Stadio San Paolo, but failed to replicate that form and suffered from a change of tactics.
“I’d prefer Valdifiori leave Napoli, but we have respect for Aurelio De Laurentiis and the club who behaved in exemplary fashion towards Mirko,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio CRC.

“The President always believed in the lad, but he was damaged by this campaign because he could’ve gone to the Euros while playing more consistently.
“With Sarri players like Valdifiori, Gabbiadini and Regini will never have space, because he only ever uses the usual 12 to 13 players.
“I don’t want to see my clients in this sort of situation, because their careers are damaged.”
