Meanwhile, agent Simone Seghedoni shot down Spanish reports of interest from Barcelona.
“I haven’t seen anything to suggest Barcelona interest and we haven’t heard from them at all,” Seghedoni told TuttoJuve.com.
“So far we haven’t had meetings with Juventus either, as all I can say right now is Domenico is a Sassuolo player.
“He is very happy to have qualified for the Europa League with Sassuolo. Now he is focused only on improving every aspect of his game and ensuring the next year is one of growth.
“Eusebio Di Francesco played an important part in his maturation. There has always been a lot of interest around Berardi, both in Italy and abroad, but they must talk to Sassuolo before beginning negotiations.
“He has done so well over the last three years that interest was inevitable.”
